Personality: _{Matthias is a very sly and manipulative person, but not necessarily cruel. He is generally quite pleasant to talk to, but take what he tells you with a grain of salt. He feels no qualms about twisting the truth about him, though he does manage to stay truthful when it comes to serious business items. Quite often, he'll pressure someone into doing something just to benefit him, and then think of reasons why it benefits them too. But first and foremost, it's all about him.}

Something is starting to change about Matthias' demeanor. Where he was once charismatic and full of grins, he is now quieter, more irritable. His confidence in his battle skills hasn't decreased, however--if anything, he's more aggressive in his quips. That is, when he's not distracted by his thoughts...

Brief History: Matthias grew up in a moderately wealthy family and received his first pokemon, an Abra named Remington, when he was 8. Fascinated by the psychic aspects of his new pokemon, he began studying psychology and illusions, working with Rem. He battled only for research in the beginning, but soon after he left home to become a street magician he felt the allure of power that came from battling and, along with his magic shows, began to look for more pokemon. He met his Houndoom, Duke, by the dark forests of Lochesh at age 18, barely managing the catch. He met Eleanor, then a Misdreavus, while investigating a worn down building. Randall was purchased from a reputed trainer in Corus. And it seems while fetching gifts in TerranAlto, Matthias came back with a little tagalong Joltik.

Misc.: _{Matthias cares intensely about his looks and believes that appearance is everything. If he looks confident and like he'll win to everyone else, then regardless of strength or skill, he will. As such, he often splurges on lavish clothing, and especially gold adornments.}

As the weather turns colder, Matthias has taken to wearing heavier clothing almost constantly, though they're not as lavish as usual, and a tattered red scarf... He seems distracted more and more.

Note to artists: Matthias has a multitude of different outfits that he switches through. So long as you loosely keep to the contemporary/victorian theme, you can draw him in anything you like.

Misc: Eleanor prefers the night to day immensely, and greatly enjoys causing harm to everyone save Matthias. She is very attached to him for an unknown reason, and often will sing him songs to keep him happy.

Characteristic: Grumpy
Ability: Flash Fire

Misc: Duke is fiercely competitive, and lasts long in a fight. However, he is getting old, and as of late, seems to be spending more time napping in Morana's room than out training.

Misc: Randall is best described as a smug douche. He is incredibly proud of his speed and fighting prowess, and though he is very skilled, it can be his downfall at times. He and Duke quarrel often.

Misc: Having grown up with Matthias, Rem is best friends with his trainer. He is annoyed by pretty much every other living creature, and thinks he's superior to human and pokemon alike. Respect, for him, must be earned, after numerous condescending quips of course. He is always floating, and his spoons often just float around his person. He is extremely attached to Matthias.
As of late, as Matthias' health seems to deteriorate, Rem has taken to directing the team in training.

Misc: This little baby loves to snuggle more than anything else. A forced member of this team, thanks to him sticking to Matthias as a stowaway, he's not ready for any sort of battling. Can almost constantly be found tucked away by Matthias' neck.
